Our Wedding

We met in high school and found a love that felt steady and familiar from the very beginning. Life took us on separate paths for almost ten years, giving us time to grow, change, and quietly carry a piece of each other along the way. When we found our way back, it felt less like a coincidence and more like coming home. Against all odds and with perfect timing, we chose each other again—this time for good. We’re so excited to celebrate a love that waited, grew, and found its way back.

Close to the hotels and if you take a tour you get a free mini bat!

Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory

A fun cuban place for lunch or dinner not far from the hotels.

La Bodeguita De Mima

A great downtown option for coffee and they claim to have the best chocolate cookie in town (they do have a GF cookie option too!!)

Our fave breakfast place. There is one in a food hall in the Omni too!

Con Huevos!

Our favorite place for Indian food! The Walker family introduced Joanie to Kasmir in high school and it has been a favorite ever since.

Kashmir Indian Restaurant

If the weather is nice, this is a pedestrian bridge over the Ohio River. A nice walk and river view!

Big Four Bridge

The bourbon we (probably) drink most often! Also makes for the best old fashioned.

Old Forester Distilling Co.

This one comes highly recommended. Our besties Lydia and Stephen said this was their favorite tour when they went on the bourbon trail!

Rabbit Hole Distillery

Lots of places to eat, drink, and shop in NULU. A nice place to wander. Cute boutiques and a cute dog store!
